StackR LogoFAQs

StackR is a marketplace built by collectors, for collectors. It leverages the OMI ecosystem, allowing users to buy and sell whitelisted IP digital collectibles using the $OMI token. The platform also provides its users with tools for tracking market activity, including collectible floor prices, listings, past transactions, and other key metrics, all aimed at enhancing the collector experience. The marketplace is designed to enhance the VeVe collecting experience and will continue to evolve based on community input.

The StackR Wallet is a web3 self-custodial solution that enables StackR users to securely store their tokens and use them for buying and selling collectibles on the StackR Marketplace. It also offers user-friendly expirience for bridging OMI tokens between Layer 1 and Layer 2, as well as managing balances of other tokens like Ethereum ($ETH) and Circle USD ($USDC), providing an accessible solution for users with minimal experience in the space.

You don't need a Web3 wallet to get started with StackR, as one is automatically created when you first sign up. StackR utilizes a self-custodial Web3 wallet solution provided by Privy, allowing you to sign up using just an email address while maintaining full control over your assets. Privy's technology ensures secure self-custody using advanced cryptographic methods, making it easy to manage your wallet without compromising on security. In the future you will be also able to connect other wallets, such as Metamask or Coinbase Wallet, to StackR for a seamless experience. For more information about Privy, you can explore their documentation at: https://docs.privy.io/guide/react/quickstart

To buy or sell collectibles, users must have a Veve account and link it to their StackR account. Without verifying that a user has a Veve account, the platform cannot list collectibles or facilitate transactions on secondary marketplaces like StackR. If you don't have one, you can create a VeVe account through the VeVe app before using the StackR platform.

To deposit $OMI tokens or any other supported token into your StackR wallet, you must first own the tokens. The StackR wallet works like any other web3 wallet, providing a public address where you can send or receive tokens across supported chains. To add $OMI to your wallet, simply obtain your StackR wallet address. For a step-by-step guide on how to retrieve your StackR wallet address via mobile or web browser, check out the following article: https://stackr.helpscoutdocs.com/article/68-where-to-find-stackr-wallet

OMI token can be bought in any centralised or decentralised exchange that supports this token. If you already have OMI in your Metamask or on an exchange, simply send it to your StackR wallet by copying your wallet address from the StackR interface. Once the tokens are in your StackR wallet, you can start using the bridge to move OMI between Ethereum (Layer 1) and Base (Layer 2).
